Cybersecurity in South Sudan
The National Communication Authority (NCA) is committed to ensuring a safe, secure, and resilient cyberspace for South Sudan. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, the NCA plays a critical role in establishing cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and response mechanisms to protect government institutions, private sector organizations, critical infrastructure, and the general public from cyber threats.

Under the umbrella of the NCA, the South Sudan Computer Incident Response Team (SS-CIRT) was established as the national focal point for cybersecurity incident management. SS-CIRT is a dynamic and multifaceted body dedicated to providing a robust and coordinated response to cybercrime and computer incidents across South Sudan and beyond.

SS-CIRT proudly serves a diverse range of constituents, including government institutions, private sector organizations, critical infrastructure service providers, and the public. Its services are tailored to address South Sudan's cybersecurity posture and meet the unique needs of each constituency, ensuring that cybersecurity is a shared responsibility.
