Hon. Ajou Luol Akuei is the Managing Director of the South Sudan Media Authority and a member of the Board of Directors of the National Communications Authority (NCA). With over 15 years of experience in journalism, media regulation, public administration, communication, and governance, he brings valuable expertise in regulatory oversight, institutional leadership, and public engagement.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of Juba and has served in editorial leadership, government communication, anti-corruption education, and international media production, including with Al Jazeera Media Network. His experience in media governance and regulation contributes to the NCA Board’s oversight, strategic direction, and commitment to transparent, accountable, and effective communications regulation in South Sudan.
