Mr. Chol Joseph Mayen Dut is the Director of Research and Planning at the National Communication Authority. He advises the Director General on research and planning matters and supervises the Research and Planning Directorate Team. His achievements while at the NCA include the establishment of a Data Centre and IXP, CERT, NOC; and the operation of the Revenue Assurance system.

Mr. Chol was the Senior Network Operations Manager at MTN South Sudan before joining the NCA. He is a Telecommunication Engineer with over 15 years’ experience, and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Electronics from Juba University. In his leisure time, Mr. Chol likes to read books.
