Mr. Ocum Genes Karlo is a Member of the National Communication Authority. He is currently the first Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning of the government of South Sudan. He joined the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning in 2012 as Director for budgeting and later became the Undersecretary for Planning.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA. He previously worked as a teacher and thereafter served with various international organizations such as Care International, World Food Program and UNDP.
